I received a phone call 10 minutes after placing the order to confirm the delivery details. The day before delivery I received phone calls from Sainsburys and the delivery company to confirm the 4 hour slot.

I used Sainsbury's as a search revealed that they sold the specific oven I was looking for.The price was very competitive and the customer service was better than any other I've received from a large company.I was kept informed by email of the progress of my order, with a phone call the day before to tell me what the delivery time slot was.Half an hour before the delivery I was phoned to say they were on the way.I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Sainsbury's for home appliances and will certainly use in the future.

Cooker came well packed against damage.
It would be helpful to know in advance that the gas connecting hose is not included with the cooker as this left me without a cooker until I could get a corgi registered gas fitter.

We had a fairly specialised need and there was a better choice on Sainsbury's, and to be fair, Boots websites, than was offered in the shops or online by Comet etc.
The price was competitive for the product we wanted but it was a toss up between Sainsbury and Boots - took the Nectar points

Drivers/installers excellent - very pleasant and helpful in spite of returning to our area to fulfil our delivery at the end of a long day.
Waited until 7pm for delivery, having been told 7AM-11am, due to lack of adequate paper work for driver.
Customer service lines (several different operators) left us holding the line and disappeared or said someone would ring back who never did.

The delivery was scheduled for Monday, but did not come.
Customer services helpful but could not find appliance for 3 days. delivery on Friday.
Delivery men said could not get in door, & said could not take the handles off. My husband was able to do so easily.
There is also full instuctions how to remove the doors of the appliance in with the goods if there was a tighter squeeze.
It should be clearer about size issues when ordering large appliances & the delivery men should be aware of how to deliver them if there is a problem.

Item did not show as out of stock, so delivery was later than expected, but no problem. Advised by telephone and e-mail that delivery would be on the Friday, and that I would be advised Thursday p.m. of delivery slot. However, no call received, and I needed to call on Friday to check.
However, this was not a major inconvenience.

A qualified yes to the question would we buy from them again, as the delivery men were not very good. We paid to have the washer/dryer connected which they were unable to do, due to them not having the right equipment. Sainsbury's quoted some obscure clause on their order form and refused to credit the connection fee.

Easy to use order service. Excellent Customer service; was informed all throughout the process from order to delivery. Even down to 20 minutes away! I was very impressed.

The appliance was not delivered to our home because we live in a house where it would involve climbing steps. Thios is despite reassurances from Sainsburys and the logistics company this this would not pose a problem. Sainsburys help desk were worse than useless , and as such I will never use them or reccomend the to anybody. P.s found same product cheaper and with free delivery (steps no problem) Thanks Sainsburys !!!!

Initial contact was made by Sainsburys after I ordered and I was informed of a 2 week wait on 1 item as it was out of stock. They made a follow up courtesy call 1 week later. After the 2 weeks I had heard nothing, so I had to chase my order. I was given a delivery date eventually and told I would be contacted the night before to confirm a delivery slot. I didn't receive this call. On the delivery day I had no idea what time the goods were to be delivered and had to contact customer services 3 times. The first time was told the driver would contact me - he didn't. The second time I was told I would be called back in 5 mins after they had spoken to the driver - I wasn't. The third time I rang, the driver actually arrived at the house while I was on the phone. I had no idea of this delivery time. To summarise, my initial experience was good, they were pleasant on the phone, but the delivery let them down and the customer service I received trying to sort it out on the day could have been better.

The product was damaged and a sticker was deliberately placed to cover mark. Shocking. Too inconvenient to go through process of exchanging goods for replacement. Live and learn.

6 days to wait to be delivered, that's too long.
Did not get the phone call the day before as promised to confirm the delivery slot. Received a call from the delivery team early on the day saying they were coming at 2pm but came at noon. Good delivery service.
Minor scratches on the freezer door not enough to sent the fridge back but frustrating. Did not get the paper invoice which was probably attached to the wrapping removed by the delivery team. I need it as the starting date of the guaranty.

this is my third experience of on-line shoppimg at sainsburys, and as before the whole experience has been brilliant. The prices are excellant, delivery is when they say, items are unpacked, so once again a very happy customer and i will still be recommending the site to my friends and family.

We ordered several items at the same time, and all but one arrived with the only hic-cup being a lack of communication. The washing machine was not in stock and we were promised that it would arrive shortly, again poor communication and a badly damaged machine set in train a long and frustrating series of problems that we had not expected with a company such as Sainsburys. We choose them as we had hoped for excellent service.

The Sainsburys site is easy to navigate and it has numerous top brands across the range. Ordering was simple and the process proved fast and efficient. The contact from Sainsburys advising me of my delivery details was exact and my appliance arrived and was installed without any problem.

Shopping fine. Delivery not so good. Delivery was made to incorrect house. We therfore had to collect the item and unpack and then dispose of all the packaging ourselves. This should have been done by the driver. The delivery driver told us to contact Sainsburys if the product was faulty. Although this was correct he could have been a bit more helpful.

My experience was very good. Information on the product was excellent (far better than other suppliers), the goods were exactly as ordered and at a better price than most others I considered.
