On line shopping was ok. The difficulty arose when trying to install the gadget. It had no fitting instructions and was very difficult to put together as there were so many small
pieces with no idea where they were all supposed to go. I am a DIY expert; heaven help me if I had no technical knowledge whatsoever. Very very poor considering it was a Hotpoint appliance and not a cheap imitation.

The actual on line purchase was excellent. The delivery time slot was given the evening before (Between 7-11am)only for the delivery driver to phone at 7:30 and change the times to between 10 and 2pm. On the plus side they did keep me informed. The delivery man did not automatically unpack the goods nor ask if I wanted them unpacked,I had to ask for it to be done. It was then done efficently with no mess and all the packaging removed for recycling.

The site is easy to navigate, the staff are helpful and polite , the tracking of the order and the way they keep you advised are second to none. When I ordered the oven they contacted me straight away to say that they were waiting for more stock and it would be two weeks, my oven was delivered just over the two weeks, Appliances online phoned me twice during those two weeks to tell me what was happening with my order so I never felt the need to chase them, My husband and I were very impressed with Appliances on line and would recomend them to friends and family.

Excellent all round transaction. Ordering was easy via the website and email confirmation, telephone contact to ensure you had purchased the correct item and follow up telephone contact to let you know when to expect arrival of your product, were all done efficiently.
There is only one thing that I would advise customers to do prior to purchase is to read the small print. I am astonished that this merchant (and many other online merchants) charge a huge £49.99 for returning an item, so be aware and make sure you have chosen the correct item before confirming your order.

Very good, they did everything they promised to do. When I missed their call(s) to confirm delivery time I phoned them and they were very helpful in dealing with my enquiry. On the day of delivery the driver called me an hour ahead to tell me very precisely when he'd arrive. That's a great service which meant I wasn't hanging around all day waiting for them to arrive. Well done.

Pretty well everything went as expected, which is the best one hopes for. Finding the best deal, arranging for delivery on a given day, being told during which 4-hour slot the cooker would arrive... all went smoothly. The people who rang me to confirm delivery details, and the two who actually brought the cooker, couldn't have been friendlier or more polite.

Only after taking payment did the company reveal that it had no current stock and did not know when it would have some.
An initial estimate of one week for delivery quickly became a minimum of three weeks before they would know when they would have any stock.
I cancelled the order and bought from a different retailer.

Appliances on Line were very courteous and helpful when ordering. The goods were delivered about on time which was remarkable considering the weather conditions on the day - absolutely bucketing down with rain. The delivery staff were again very courteous and helpful. Everyone did everything it said on the tin.

I choose Appliances Online as it offered the best price for the cooker I wanted. The cooker arrived on a convenient delivery date on time and in perfect condition. I found the detailed instructions on what to do on delivery helpful and reassuring. I would be very happy to use Appliance Online again.
