Epinions Decent wifi router, 2-year shelf life

by  opinionkitty,  Dec 16, 2007
Pros: Transmits wifi signal as it's supposed to, easy to set up, convenient USB ports
Cons: Takes a few minutes to reset, started malfunctioning after 2 years
The Bottom Line: Decent wifi router, but because it broke down after 2 years, I'd recommend a different brand like Linksys for a much better price with the same or better quality.
Review: I'm not sure what the average shelf life of a wifi router is, but my Airport Express lasted about 2 years before it started to die. Prior to its malfunctioning, it worked perfectly fine; it transmitted a wifi signal to my Mac laptop, Wii, DS, etc. ...

The Bottom Line: This is a great device for creating a small to medium home network through internet, printer, and music sharing.
Review: After getting a Mac mini for Christmas last year, it became apparent that I should upgrade my Internet. Previously, I had been using dial-up....scary, no? Since many elements of my new computer are Internet-dependent, and I wanted a faster way online, ...
